Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support a Citrix-centric environment across Skokie and nearby sites. You will help maintain, upgrade, and secure enterprise platforms, ensuring reliability and performance for clinical and business systems.

You will lead and collaborate on critical initiatives, apply advanced scripting and automation, and participate in on-call support to keep services available and compliant with HIPAA and other standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in IT systems, platform engineering, or technical engineering.
Experience with Citrix (XenApp, VDI, NetScaler).
Knowledge of security, HIPAA, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain and upgrade Endeavor Health's software, platforms, infrastructure and devices.
Lead technology initiatives within your portfolio with minimal direction.
Analyze and optimize resource requirements for service levels.
Install releases, patches, and security updates; assess criticality and enterprise impact.
Address inquiries and issues; escalate when needed with proper documentation.
Support on-call rotation for off-hours coverage across platforms and infra.
Contribute to configuration management documentation and governance.
