Job summary

CNH Industrial America LLC in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a Systems Engineer to collaborate with the Precision Technology team on vehicle displays, control systems, telematics and autonomous capabilities.

The role involves developing test strategies, executing system tests, interfacing with hardware teams, and maintaining HIL configurations. Requires a Master’s degree and 2 years’ related experience, including MATLAB/Simulink and Jira skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering or related field plus 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with system requirements for subsystems and verification testing.
• Experience with model-based design tools and embedded systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies for system testing and create/maintain test reports.
• Perform system test execution for software releases with full verification loops.
• Interface with hardware teams to gather specifications for controllers, instrument clusters, displays, telematics and devices.
• Collaborate with system, software and Functional Safety teams to extract requirements for telematics, displays and auto guidance.
• Create and maintain reusable test scripts for automated testing and ensure traceability of tests to requirements.
• Maintain the HIL configuration and lab bench setup; support reports and test validation efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in Design of Experiments and Design Validation testing.
