Job summary

Jean Martin is actively seeking an experienced, high-caliber DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation to join our Fort Lee, NJ team on a hybrid basis (in-person interview required). You will manage CI/CD pipelines, secure cloud architectures, and ensure high availability across large-scale web apps with AWS, GCP, IaC, and security tooling.

You will work with Ansible and other IaC tools, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate on disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of extensive hands-on professional experience with AWS and GCP.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with large-scale websites, debugging frameworks, and APM telemetry tools.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automated provisioning workflows.
• Minimum of 2+ years working with code and infrastructure security tools (CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, Prisma, Qualys, Veracode, SonarQube).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience implementing and monitoring CDN and WAF security policies (WAF, Site Shield).
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration, HTTP servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS), and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy).
• Mandatory willingness to work in a hybrid model in Fort Lee, NJ (with in-person interview), participate in on-call rotations, and hold legal US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments across cloud environments.
• Provision, configure, and scale cloud infrastructure services on AWS and GCP.
• Implement, monitor, and manage security policies for applications and infrastructure including WAF, CDN, and Site Shield.
• Administer Linux operating systems, supporting services, microservices, and n-tier application architectures.
• Utilize IaC frameworks and configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet).
• Monitor system performance, debug large-scale web applications, and use APM telemetry tools for incident resolution.
• Execute security vulnerability scanning, remediation, and code security checks using tools like CrowdStrike, Prisma, Qualys, and SonarQube.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations, disaster recovery drills, high-availability planning, and storage integrations.
