Job summary

Homebridge Inc in San Francisco seeks a motivated System Administrator to support a hybrid infrastructure, including on‑premises servers and cloud services (Microsoft 365 and Azure).

You will collaborate with IT leadership and Support Specialists to maintain security, HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance, system automation, patching, backup, and end‑user support, while documenting changes and participating in audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience as System Administrator or IT Support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Azure Fundamentals are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Monitor patching, security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Support backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Assist with endpoint management and asset tracking (MDM, encryption).
• Respond to tickets and escalate as needed.
• Document systems, workflows, and changes.
• Participate in audits and security reviews.
