Job summary

ESL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a mixed environment of VMware, Citrix, Windows and Linux servers. You will work with Systems Engineers and Desktop Support to ensure high availability and security of ESL's infrastructure, with hybrid work options and a 40% remote capacity.

The role requires 2+ years of admin experience, strong virtualization skills, and the ability to respond to on-call issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Systems Administrator experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Office365
• Intermediate knowledge of server virtualization
• Foundational networking knowledge
• Foundational Linux knowledge
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Flexible with working hours and 24x7 on-call availability

Responsibilities

• Support Systems Engineers and Desktop Support to maintain performance and availability of infrastructure
• Install and upgrade ESL systems including VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, Windows and Linux servers
• Monitor and maintain uptime of 99.5% or better
• Provide Tier 3 support escalated by Desktop Support
• Collaborate with vendors and project teams on projects
• Document base server builds and system configurations
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance with Information Security
