Job summary

Deciphex Limited is seeking a Systems Administrator in Naperville, IL for a hybrid role with three on-site days per week. You will own day-to-day IT operations, maintain infrastructure, and resolve ServiceDesk tickets while supporting colleagues and partners globally.

You’ll manage network, security, and endpoint systems, collaborate with the Ireland/UK IT teams, and contribute to cost-effective, scalable IT services in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional IT experience in systems administration or IT operations
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN networks and infrastructure
• Experience with Office 365 and/or Google Workspace
• Experience with NAS storage systems, routers, firewalls and VPN configuration
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki networking
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 environment desirable

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, endpoints) and ensure optimal performance
• Resolve ServiceDesk tickets and provide end-user support
• Manage equipment logistics and asset register
• Support network upgrades and lab projects, including weekend work when needed
• Build best practices and standards for ServiceDesk and IT operations
• Collaborate with IT teams in Ireland and the UK
