The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is seeking a Systems Administrator II (NS) to join the SEC Office - Info Tech in Raleigh. This role supports enterprise IT services, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance across Windows and Unix/Linux environments.

Strong AD, clustering, and SAN experience are required. Hybrid work arrangement with onsite reporting in Raleigh, NC.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT or a closely related field with 3 years of progressive experience in systems software programming
• Associate degree in computer science or IT or a closely related field with 4 years of progressive experience in systems software programming
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
• Knowledge of enterprise IT security practices and disaster recovery concepts

Mansioni

• Design, provision, install/configure, document, and maintain server architectures in a mixed virtualized and physical environment
• Manage Windows and Unix/Linux servers, applications, web, and database services
• Administer Enterprise Active Directory and multi-node Windows Failover Clusters with SAN appliances
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, communicate with stakeholders, and develop long-range IT strategies
