Job summary
Fitch Group is seeking a System Administrator – Intermediate based out of our New York City office. The role focuses on automation, cloud management, and reliable IT operations to support Fitch’s financial information services.
You will work with a team delivering scalable infrastructure, monitoring, backups, and security across AWS/Azure environments, contributing to resilience and service quality for clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripts, and orchestration tools.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in Linux and Windows operating systems, including EKS environments.
- Implement and configure enterprise-scale monitoring of applications and infrastructure using DataDog.
- Manage and optimize backups in AWS and Azure, and participate in Business Continuity tests.
