Job summary

Fitch is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to join our New York City office. You will develop automation, manage cloud infrastructure with IaC, and resolve Linux/Windows and EKS issues to keep services reliable.

The role emphasizes monitoring with Datadog, backups in AWS, and security with Zscaler, in a hybrid work environment with in-office days 2–3 per week. The team values growth, learning, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows/Linux servers.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Datadog, Zabbix).
• Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform and automation via Ansible.
• Python and AWS cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
• Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC, scripts, and orchestration tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in Linux and Windows, including EKS environments.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure with DataDog for proactive issue detection.
• Manage backups in AWS/Azure and participate in business continuity tests.
• Manage Zscaler to enhance network security and secure resource access.
