Job summary

Techoundsllc is seeking a Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer to join the Technology team in New York. The role blends traditional systems administration with cloud engineering, administering on‑prem and cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

You will design, deploy, and optimize multi‑cloud infrastructure, manage identity services, and support a VMware‑based virtualization environment, while automating tasks with scripting and IaC

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on AWS and/or GCP with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Proficient with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD and IAM.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infra across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Monitor system health and respond to incidents promptly.
• Manage IAM across AD/Entra ID, AWS IAM, and SaaS platforms.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
• Maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi environments and backups.
