Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated System Lead Engineer to join the Product Delivery Team in Morrisville, NC. This role leads server platform design from development through customer delivery, owning end-to-end system execution across design, integration, validation, manufacturing readiness, deployment, and support.

The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional execution with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and customer teams to ensure technical requirements, quality, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years in system engineering, server platforms or datacenter infrastructure (10+ years preferred).
• Experience owning server platform development through complete product lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating hardware, firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level server platform development, integration, debugging, validation, and issue resolution.
• Own products through the complete lifecycle from development to customer delivery.
• Drive coordination across hardware, firmware, software, validation, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for system-level design decisions and problem solving.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and support deployments.
