Jewish Family & Children's Service in Greater Boston is seeking a Synagogue & Jewish Community Social Worker to join the Betty Ann Greenbaum Miller Center for Jewish Healing, embedding in partner synagogues and guiding bereavement and support groups across the Jewish community.

The role works with clergy, staff, lay leaders and families to respond with compassion and referrals, requiring strong group leadership, trust-building and collaboration across sites with regular evening and some weekend

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in social work or related field.
• Licensure in Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) or eligibility.
• Experience facilitating support groups and bereavement programs.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as on-site social worker for partner synagogues and provide consultation to clergy and staff.
• Develop and facilitate in-person and virtual bereavement and support groups across Greater Boston.
• Assist with referrals, case management, outreach, intake and documentation; travel to partner communities.
