Job summary

Dominion Energy seeks a seasoned Sourcing & Materials Manager to lead procurement and materials management activities, driving cross-functional collaboration and strategic supplier relations. You will mentor teams, negotiate major contracts, and ensure procurement compliance while mitigating risks across the supply chain.

Expect a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 telework), with travel up to 25%. Nuclear safety-related parts knowledge is a plus, and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly related experience in sourcing and/or material management.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and/or materials management processes and methodologies.
• Full knowledge of supply chain management policies, procedures, and accounting practices.
• Understanding of financial analysis tools and techniques
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Teaming and human relations skills.
• Effective persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Analytical, resource assessment, and management skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to train and teach others.
• Experience with SAP, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead major negotiations and drive supplier integration.
• Coordinate daily activities of the team and develop strategies to achieve department goals.
• Collaborates closely with stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure optimal customer service.
• Provide guidance to internal customer groups to ensure procurement compliance.
• Develops and provides training in supply chain management tools and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
