Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Supplier Quality Engineer in Orlando to strengthen supplier quality management for Grid Solution projects. The role combines audits, QA, and continuous improvement across the supplier base, interfacing with procurement, project management, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing, CQE certification, and deep ISO 9001 knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years of supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing experience.
Experience in supplier qualification and auditing preferred.
Project management experience in complex environments preferred.
Knowledge of quality methods (5 Whys, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and SAP QM.
CQE certification and lead auditor knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and manage supplier audits (process, product, system) to ensure standards compliance.
Analyze audit findings and close non-conformities with effective corrective actions (CAPA).
Maintain and improve the supplier quality management system and reporting.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering on PPQ activities for new products.
Lead supplier performance management using KPIs and SLAs.
Coach suppliers on quality standards and best practices.
