Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking the Head of Supplier Quality & Development – Systems in the United States, based in Orlando, FL. The role directs specialists across commodities, materials, quality control and manufacturing to support strategic procurement for Electrical Systems.
You will drive supplier development, technology roadmaps and risk management while partnering with cross‑functional teams on innovation and sourcing decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing / Operations or similar; Masters/PhD preferred.
- Extensive leadership experience in PM, Engineering, Quality or Supply Chain in heavy industry.
- Executive communication and change leadership experience across cultures.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SQEs, Commodity Engineers and Material Experts across global Electrical Systems commodities.
- Collaborate with Strategic Commodity Managers to implement commodity strategies for robust supply chains.
- Develop technology roadmaps and guide sourcing decisions from concept to capability assessment.
- Provide technical guidance to Procurement and lead supplier audits and capability assessments.
