First Citizens Bank offers a hybrid summer internship that blends in-office and remote work. Interns will apply classroom knowledge to real-world risk and finance projects, focusing on CCAR and Balance Sheet forecasting models within a dynamic team.

You will participate in professional development, complete a capstone project, and present findings to division leaders, while building skills in data analysis and communication.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration.
• Preferred focus in statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics or related field.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree is preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 minimum.

Responsabilidades

• Model Development – analyze CCAR and Balance Sheet forecasting models using quantitative methods.
• Model maintenance – perform statistical testing and root cause analysis.
• Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
• Handle research, analytics, projects, and process improvements as needed.
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community events.
• Receive project assignment and present outcomes to leadership at internship end.
• Prepare a wrap-up presentation for division leaders outlining accomplishments.
