Job summary

First Citizens Bank offers a summer internship in a hybrid setting, with hands-on data and modeling work supporting risk management and balance sheet planning. You will develop CCAR and forecasting models, analyze macroeconomic drivers, and contribute to ALM and strategic initiatives under mentoring.

Interns present a wrap-up to division leaders, attend development sessions, and gain exposure to analytics, research, and technology projects, all while balancing coursework and internship

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the time of the summer program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Model Development – conduct data and modeling analysis for CCAR and Balance Sheet forecasting models.
• Model maintenance – perform statistical testing and root cause analysis of model performance.
• Attend professional development sessions and participate in projects, strategy, and process improvement.
