Job summary

DLA Piper’s Litigation group invites exceptional law students to join a 10-week summer program across offices including Los Angeles. You may be considered for a 1L (2027 summer) or 2L (2028 summer) position, with a tailored experience in trials, appeals, and related counseling, plus pro bono opportunities.

Ideal candidates show an interest in litigation; Law Review or Moot Court is preferred. You will be supported by a team, receive feedback, and network through firm events.

Qualifications

• Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
• Meet deadlines, expectations, and perform duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.
• Interest in litigation; Law Review or Moot Court preferred.

Responsibilities
