Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join a 12-week summer internship in the electric utility sector. You will work on real world challenges, paired with a mentor, and present your project at the Intern Expo.

This program helps you grow your network and gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant tools. We seek students pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (graduation after Dec 2027) with a minimum 2.8 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with graduation date after Dec 2027.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You'll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through various intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
