Southern California Edison invites ambitious engineering students to join a 12-week summer internship in California. You will work under a mentor, tackle real-world utility challenges, and participate in intern events to broaden your network and professional skills.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a 2.8+ GPA and graduation after Dec 2027. The role is hybrid, with some days on-site and some remote, and relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You’ll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through various intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
