Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join the Clean Energy Revolution as a summer intern. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to powering our planet and reducing carbon emissions.

The program is hybrid, with on-site facility days and remote work, running May/June 2027 through August/September 2027. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector.
• Paired with a mentor and collaborate to apply your knowledge.
• Build your professional network through intern events.
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally.
• Present your internship project at the Intern Expo.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
• Demonstrate effective and open communication.
