Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Summer Intern for the EPMO governance team in Chicago. The 12-week seasonal program includes 40-hour weeks in a hybrid setting, with in-office anchor days Tuesday and Wednesday and potential remote days based on performance and state of residence.

Interns will assist with project gate reviews, ticketing queue maintenance, data analytics, and ad-hoc tasks to support day-to-day EPMO operations.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.

Responsibilities

• Project Phase Gate reviews – Use EPMO Gov tool to perform compliance reviews for projects that are gating from one phase to the other.
• Work Request queue maintenance - Daily review EPMO Gov ticketing tool and assign work to EPMO Gov members responsible for the work; Complete simple tasks such as changing the assigned Project Manager in pmo tools.
• Perform data analytics on EPMO Activities that are tied to controls using EPMO Gov tool, export data and analyze it for time in status, most reported issues, escalations, etc.
• Other ad-hoc activities that might arise
