Qualifications
15 or more years of substation physical design experience.
Familiarity with ground-based Lidar and converting point cloud information to vector.
Knowledge of design techniques and principles for technical plans.
Responsibilities
Preparation and detailed review of substation drawings.
Conduct field walkdowns and gather data at client facilities.
Provide guidance and mentoring to designers and drafters.
Skills
Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation)
Ability to visualize Equipment Details
Ability to multi-task from project to project
Ability to visualize parts in 3D
Education
Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
