Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of substation physical design experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various substation drawings including General Arrangement and Equipment Plans.
• Perform walkdowns at client facilities and incorporate vendor information.
• Apply Client's standards related to the work.

Skills

Substation physical design experience

Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Ability to visualize parts in 3D

Education

Associate’s Degree in Drafting

High School Diploma with drafting coursework
