Job summary

Alpha 3 is seeking a Substation Engineer (P&C) to support high voltage substation projects from conceptual through detailed design. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Wilmington, DE, with three days in the office and two days remote.

Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and a master’s or equivalent experience in electrical power engineering, plus knowledge of substations, protection schemes, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or closely related field.
• Master’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in electrical power engineering.
• Knowledge of substations, protection schemes, and relays; familiarity with NEC/NESC and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and create designs and drawings under guidance.
• Produce deliverables such as one lines, schematics, layouts, and BOMs with the project team.
