AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking a Property Subrogation Adjuster in Alpharetta, GA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of subrogation claims handling experience or strong understanding of liability determinations with aptitude to learn.
• State licensure as required.
• Property Subrogation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suites.
• Demonstrated skills in investigation, evaluation and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance theory and practices.

Responsabilités

• Investigates the property claim or coverage by contacting involved parties including insured, claimant and adverse parties.
• Documents strategy, action plan, and summary of correspondence clearly and fact-based.
• Verifies liability and negligence with supervisor guidance; drafts positions with standardized language when needed.
• Notifies all potential parties and insurers of subrogation interests.
• Ensures quality and timely service for internal and external customers.
• Partner with Legal Counsel to build relationships and apply company standards.
• Negotiate and resolve litigated and non-litigated subrogation claims to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Gains trust of other parties during negotiations and manages timing effectively.
• Manages and controls loss adjustment expenses.
• Develops critical thinking to gather, assess, analyze, verify and interpret key issues.
• Keeps time and diary entries organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Escalates settlement decisions when appropriate to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
