Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator Associate to support the subcontract lifecycle, including NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, and purchase orders. The role emphasizes collaboration with management and subcontract personnel to resolve issues and drive process improvements. Hybrid position at our Herndon, VA facility; 3 days onsite per week with potential travel for meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 1+ year of related experience in contracts administration or corporate environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective administrative and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to operate and negotiate independently
• Problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assists in negotiation and administration of NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements
• Assists in preparation of subcontract solicitations
• Participates in evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements
• Reviews and coordinates approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents
• Participates in negotiating and drafting subcontract modifications
• Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems
• Assists management and subcontract personnel in preparing procedural changes
• Assists management and subcontract personnel in the resolution of subcontract-related problems
• Develops current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices
• Participates in special projects as required
