Job summary

Wellington Management seeks an experienced Relationship Manager - Sub-Advised Insurance to oversee and strengthen a portfolio of strategic insurance client relationships. You will coordinate internal resources and ensure governance, delivering outstanding service across the relationship lifecycle.

The role requires deep client awareness, organizational agility, and the ability to drive accountability for delivery among Investments, Product, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in relationship management, client service, sub-advisory, or institutional asset management.
• Experience managing sophisticated institutional or sub-advisory client relationships.
• Understanding of governance processes, reporting requirements, and client servicing activities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned insurance and sub-advisory clients.
• Maintain ongoing client engagement and lead day-to-day relationship management activities.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews, governance activities, reporting requirements, and client deliverables.
• Monitor service expectations and facilitate resolution of client issues.
• Partner with Investments, Product, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to support execution.
• Support retention efforts through proactive relationship management and client advocacy.
• Contribute to strategic account planning and identification of client needs.
• Maintain visibility into key client priorities, activities, and timelines.
• Provide continuity of coverage across strategic relationships.
• Support development of junior team members and relationship management processes.
