Job summary

The University of Alaska Anchorage School of Social Work seeks a Student Engagement and Admissions Specialist to support recruitment, admissions management, student outreach and engagement. You will help grow the social work profession in Alaska by recruiting for the BSW and MSW programs and managing applications.

You will develop programming, connect students with employers, and use data to assess and improve engagement efforts, with on-site or hybrid flexibility per UA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work degree and three years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Master of Social Work degree and experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit students for the BSW and MSW programs and manage application files.
• Develop programming and opportunities for social work students.
• Collaborate with prospective employers to connect them to students.
• Utilize data and program assessment to drive recruitment and engagement efforts.
