Jobot is seeking a Structural Engineer for a hybrid role focused on prime projects in California. The position offers collaboration with architects, contractors, and other design professionals, providing exposure from design development through construction documentation and permitting.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural degree, PE license in CA, and experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use structures. Ongoing development and flexible work arrangements are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Professional experience in structural/building design
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, engineering calculations, and construction documentation
• Experience designing building structures using common structural materials and systems
• Familiarity with applicable building codes and structural design standards
• Ability to manage multiple project responsibilities and deadlines
• Comfortable contributing to projects from design development through construction
• PE licensure in the state of California
• Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use structural projects is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to early design through documentation and coordination with a multidisciplinary team
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers
• Provide construction support, permitting assistance, and shop drawing review
