Jobot is seeking a seasoned Building Systems Engineer in the San Francisco area who can lead projects, manage staff, and collaborate with contractors and architects. The role emphasizes seismic design for both structural and nonstructural elements, with a track record of delivering complex retrofit projects.

Ideal candidates hold a California PE, 8–10 years of experience, and strong RAM/ETABS/SAP2000/RISA 3D skills. A hybrid workplace is offered with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Master’s degree in structural engineering or 5-year Architectural Engineering degree.
• 8–10 years of experience in building structural engineering.
• California PE license required; SE license or licensure in progress preferred.
• Strong project management skills and collaboration with contractors/architects.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

Responsabilidades

• Project and Personnel Management, including client relationships, staffing, and staff training.
• Design of nonstructural components, seismic bracing of equipment and MEP distribution.
• Structural evaluation and development of strengthening/retrofit designs.
