Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the sourcing strategy for assigned product categories, select and pre-qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure offerings meet price, quality, and capacity targets.

The role collaborates with SCM Leadership, FSQA, and cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain, manage supplier performance, support product launches and events, and align suppliers with Panda's culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPSM certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a multi-unit food service and/or manufacturing organization.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of the 10-step strategic sourcing process for assigned product categories, optimizing pricing, quality, timing and supply.
• Advise SCM Leadership on product availability, pricing, and supplier pre-qualification for price, safety, capacity and quality.
• Collaborate with FSQA and Supply Management to bring products into distribution and resolve supplier issues.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to minimize disruptions and align with Panda's growth plans.
• Support cross-functional projects and events with procurement, pricing, and supplier coordination.
