Job summary

RPM Living in Austin, TX seeks a Category Manager to lead indirect spend categories, partnering with stakeholders to maximize value and optimize sourcing. The role focuses on category strategies, supplier management, and process improvements across multiple categories.

This hybrid position requires collaboration with Corporate, Area, and Business Units, with three days in the Austin office. You will drive YOY goals and supplier performance while enabling business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience.
• Proficiency with eProcurement systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned categories, including stakeholder management and supplier relations.
• Develops category strategies in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Leads process standardization and improvement initiatives.
• Implements supplier performance management for continuous improvement.
• Achieves YOY goals across assigned projects and categories.
