Job summary

This role oversees the InfoHub intranet, communications guidelines, media responses, and accessibility standards, chairs advisory teams, and collaborates across bureaus to deliver clear, consistent messaging for staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time or equivalent professional experience in communications, public administration, or related field.
• Experience writing, editing, and producing materials for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage urgent and sensitive communications for a large organization.
• Familiarity with intranets, content management, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to coordinate with executives, managers, and staff across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver internal messaging to inform and educate staff about initiatives and urgent information.
• Prepare talking points, speeches, fact sheets, and briefing documents aligned with department goals.
• Manage email distribution, analytics, and platform improvements to increase engagement.
• Oversee InfoHub/SharePoint content and chair related advisory teams.
• Collaborate with executives to respond to ongoing communications needs and crises.
• Draft materials for external engagements and review media/public records responses.
