Job summary

Owl's Brew in New York, NY is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the finance and administration function. This high-visibility role partners with the CEO and Board to drive strategic decisions and scalable financial infrastructure, from accounting to treasury and pricing strategy.

The ideal candidate blends beverage industry passion with entrepreneurial judgment, capable of long-range planning and hands-on execution to support growth and fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience running the financial function
• 5+ years in food & beverage or CPG with BevAlc industry experience
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the finance function via dashboards, weekly reports and margin analysis
• Build and scale financial infrastructure, systems, controls, and reporting cadence
• Oversee cash management, inventory, AP/AR, credit control, taxes
• Provide timely analyses of budgets, proposals, and business trends
• Lead investor relations including fundraising and deck preparation
• Own accounting functions including month and year-end closes
• Drive pricing, promotions, SKU and channel profitability analyses
• Support Board reporting and governance
