Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Storage Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Go-to-Market to deliver product readiness and releases. The role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, dependencies, and risks to ensure on-time delivery within the Hybrid Cloud PMO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Program Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience in Program Management or a related role.
• Proficiency with program management, productivity, and collaboration tools, including Smartsheet, Lucid Timeline, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Slack.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate program plans, status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and management.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Experience working within product development, technology, engineering, or similar complex technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Report into the HPE Storage PMO within the Hybrid Cloud organization.
• Lead one or more Storage programs across cross-functional teams to deliver product, release, readiness, and service-related objectives.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, key milestones, deliverables, resource plans, budget inputs, dependencies, risks, and readiness activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment, track progress against program plans, and drive adjustments to schedules, milestones, priorities, or resource allocation as needed.
• Lead cross-functional program execution across Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services, Quality, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Drive execution of Storage product releases, product readiness activities, sustaining initiatives, documentation, and launch support.
• Identify, track, and manage program risks, dependencies, issues, and critical-path activities, driving mitigation and resolution plans as appropriate.
• Communicate program status, milestones, risks, decisions, and escalations to stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making across technical, business, and partner teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to improve program execution, visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced team members as needed.
