Job summary

Thomas Edwards Group in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Staffing Consultant to join the Contract Search Division. You will source, screen, interview candidates for accounting and finance roles and partner with recruiters to place top talent.

You will manage requisitions, build relationships in the business community, conduct structured interviews, coordinate candidate feedback, and ensure compliance and a positive candidate experience. This role offers a strong hybrid work arrangement after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Preference for 2 years accounting/finance experience or recruiting accounting/finance roles.
• Solid track record of progression and promotion.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Word/Outlook; CRM experience; Bullhorn a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage open client job requisitions by posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, and collecting feedback.
• Proactively source and engage top talent using search techniques, market mapping, and networking.
• Develop relationships/networks in the business community to expand candidate referrals and searches.
• Lead structured interviews and candidate evaluations ensuring consistency, fairness, and quality of hire.
• Support recruitment efforts for both non-exempt and exempt contract accounting/finance roles.
• Manage recruiting tools including Job Boards, ATS, Background Checks, and Testing; maintain data in CRM and ensure EEOC compliance.
• Build long-term relationships with your candidate network throughout their career search.
• Create marketing summaries on candidates for client presentations.
• Prepare and debrief candidates before and after interviews with clients.
• Ensure positive candidate experience with the team during interview and hiring processes.
• Complete thorough reference checks on candidates.
• Manage offer stage including compensation negotiation and closing of candidates for contract roles.
• Ensure accurate candidate data and communications in CRM.
