Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, with hands-on exposure to both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Experience in a high-volume environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and reconcile AR and AP transactions and related entries.
• Prepare and analyze customer receipts, vendor invoices, payments, credits, debit memos, and refunds.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unapplied cash, short pays, overpayments, and open items.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and quarter-end close.
• Monitor AR/AP aging and follow up on past due balances and open items.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve billing and account issues.
• Maintain supporting documentation and internal controls including SOX/compliance requirements.
• Identify process improvements and assist with workflow enhancements.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses.
