Job summary

Citco is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial statements and regulatory reporting. The role involves preparing statements, drafting footnotes, and handling regulatory forms with supervision across the fund admin line in a hybrid environment in the United States.

Ideal candidates will have a accounting-focused degree, internship experience, and strong Excel/Word skills, with the ability to interact with regulators and audit firms while maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 accounting credits.
• Relevant accounting internship experience in Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, or Hedge desirable.
• Experience in Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or financial institution knowledge desirable.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements under supervision.
• Draft footnote disclosures per fund financial reporting standards.
• Prepare financial highlights and per share tables, expense ratio analysis, etc.
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy against accounting records.
• Maintain audit support schedules throughout the year.
• Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports (e.g., Form PF, Form SLT).
• Interact with internal teams, clients, regulators (SEC), and audit firms to support regulatory reporting.
• Gain familiarity with the CFS proprietary systems.
• Maintain effective communication within Citco offices at various levels.
• Build external client contacts when needed and be responsive to business needs.
