Hearst Magazines is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy in financial operations and support a fast-paced team environment. You will help with journal entries, closes, reconciliations, and reporting across Hearst Magazines' brands.

Formación

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or financial systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and maintain accounting records.
• Assist with account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support day-to-day financial operations.
• Help maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Assist audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive efficiencies.
