Job summary

IGT’s Payment Services team seeks a Senior Manager of Payment Accounting Operations & Reporting to lead a high-volume, strategic function in Providence. You will drive payment accounting, funds management, and reporting across multiple programs, coordinating with finance, product, technology, and banking partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process improvement, and scalability in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work is available with proximity to IGT offices on the East Coast.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in payment operations, accounting operations, financial operations, treasury, revenue operations, reconciliation, or high-volume transaction environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams, operational workflows, reconciliation functions, or cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Experience overseeing funds management, payment accounting, bank activity, settlement support, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for payment accounting operations, funds management, reconciliations, settlement support, financial reporting, and exception management.
• Oversee daily payment activity across multiple bank accounts, payment providers, customer programs, and internal systems.
• Ensure payment transactions, settlement activity, bank activity, and system outputs are accurately reconciled and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, reconciliation processes, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
• Partner across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Technology, Compliance, banks, and payment providers to resolve complex issues and improve processes.
• Support onboarding of new customers, payment providers, payment methods, bank accounts, and operational workflows.
• Own management, operational, portfolio, and customer-facing reporting.
• Improve reporting quality, automation, governance, and visibility through BI, analytics, and reporting technologies.
• Lead reporting modernization initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing, validation, documentation, and adoption.
• Coach and develop team members while fostering accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
