Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in database administration, systems administration, or production support.
- At least two years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or newer.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Working knowledge of T-SQL, writing, executing, and troubleshooting queries.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Support SQL Server versions 2016 through 2022.
- Write, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize T-SQL queries and scripts.
- Monitor database backups and assist with restores, recovery testing, and validation.
- Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between database, application, and web servers.
- Assist with database high-availability, clustering, Always On, and disaster-recovery activities.
- Install, configure, administer, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
- Support Windows Server 2016 through 2022 across development, testing, staging, and production.
