The Milken Institute, based in Santa Monica, seeks a Senior Associate to plan and produce its global speaker events. You will liaison with speakers, partners, and VIP guests, ensuring top-tier experiences before, during, and after events.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Speaker Relations & Event Production, this full-time role offers growth within a dynamic nonprofit think tank with hybrid work and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers, providing high-touch support and maintaining clear communication throughout engagement.
• Maintain the speaker registration process, including back-end workflows and data integrity.
• Collaborate across departments to align speaker logistics, programming objectives, and event operations.
• Manage speaker-related timelines, deliverables, and on-site support for a seamless experience.
• Work with event production partners on run of shows and on-site management of speaker rooms and programming spaces.
• Develop on-site speaker experience, VIP touch points, and networking opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives, thought leaders, and influencers with discretion and professionalism.
• Use Salesforce, Cvent, and PM tools to track speaker data and deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement of Speaker Relations processes to boost efficiency and branding.
