Job summary

Vizient is seeking a detail-oriented sourcing and contracting professional to support the development and execution of contract strategies for clients. You will assist across the full sourcing lifecycle—from data analysis and RFP preparation to supplier engagement and contract maintenance—under guidance from senior team members and Legal.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Foundational experience in contract review, redlining, or negotiation support preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and redline contract terms under guidance from senior team members and Legal.
• Support supplier negotiations with materials, summaries and discussions.
• Coordinate communications among clients, suppliers and internal teams; document Updates.
• Maintain contract documents reflecting agreed updates and adhere to standards.
• Escalate complex items to senior sourcing executives for guidance.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies by analyzing data and market insights.
• Assist in RFP creation, distribution, bid collection and initial evaluations.
• Coordinate supplier communications and scheduling for sourcing activities.
• Support contract maintenance activities, including amendments and renewals.
• Prepare communications summarizing sourcing progress and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel.
