Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to join our growing team in a HYBRID role based in Novi, MI, with 2-3 days onsite. You will lead design and optimization of warehousing solutions, balancing cost, service, processes, and technology across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehousing/manufacturing, preferably cold storage, and strong MS Office and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years in warehousing/manufacturing with cold storage preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel 10-20%

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs and develop solution design hypotheses to meet customer needs.
• Validate data, model scenarios, and estimate labor and equipment needs.
• Develop pricing models and lead internal pricing reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance and Network Optimization.
• Ensure designs are implemented as planned to realize value.
• Support engineering standards and tools development.
• Conduct time and efficiency studies.
