Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Software Support Specialist to provide software help for PDC, IAED, and PSI products. You will resolve client issues via analysis, testing, and knowledge bases while growing product expertise in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include responding to requests, updating client records, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to documentation and knowledge base efforts. Strong SQL skills and writing ability are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in technical support, software support, or IT operations required
• Previous software support experience, or related systems knowledge, is a plus
• Technical writing experience, ideally creating support documentation for software products, is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Responds to client support requests via phone, email, and chat with clear, professional communication
• Uses the company’s client management system to create, track, and/or update details on client issues
• Participates in 24/7 On-Call phone rotation
• Communicates with all parties involved in issue resolutions to meet client expectations
• Submits client issues to team managers or supervisors for resolution as appropriate
• Works on complex customer problems spanning multiple applications and environments
• Creates or enhances documentation throughout the support process
• Provides expert SQL-related assistance to customers, resolving issues efficiently
• Collaborates with the development team to communicate feedback and identify product enhancements
• Troubleshoots application deployments and reproduces customer issues
• Documents SQL-related queries, issues, and resolutions for knowledge base
