Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to drive integration, delivery, and readiness of SCADA software solutions. You will own end-to-end build and release processes to ensure timely, high-quality software for Intel Foundry initiatives.

The role requires strong collaboration across cross-functional teams, experience with FAT/CAT testing, and hands-on expertise in software integration, release management, and HMI/SCADA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of hands-on experience in software integration, release management, or platform software development; OR Master's degree with 4+ years; OR PhD with 2+ years.
• 2+ years of experience in software build systems, release processes, and version control tools such as Git.
• Experience in defining and implementing HMI software integration strategies and workflows (SCADA, Cimplicity, Rockwell, WinCC or Ignition).
• Experience with testing methodologies (FAT/CAT testing) and project development environment readiness.
• Experience with MS OS, Industrial Control software with both physical and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end platform software integration strategies, ensuring alignment across program stakeholders.
• Lead software ingredient delivery processes and maintain mainline health to ensure project consistency and stability.
• Establish and manage project development environments, including software build and release setup and cadence.
• Define Functional Acceptance Testing and ensure compliance with entry and exit criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful program completion and deliver high-quality software solutions.
