Job summary

The role requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power, 1+ year in software development, and experience with C/C++, Python, Git/GitHub, Linux/Windows/AIX, and Agile processes. Hybrid work is permitted.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus in Electrical Power
• At least 1 year of experience in Software Development, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Code Enhancements for Operator Training Simulators
• Experience with C/C++ and Python
• Experience with source code control using Git and/or GitHub
• Experience with Linux, Windows and AIX Platforms
• Experience with Agile processes and software testing

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, deliver and support Siemens Operator Training Simulator for Spectrum Power 7 EMS to global customers
• Review and respond to customer technical requirements and estimate effort for delivering enhancements
• Software development of project enhancements to customer requirements and testing in factory/site environments
• Troubleshoot and debug Operator Training Simulator issues and problems, providing site support
• 20% travel domestically and internationally
• Hybrid work permitted
