Job summary

TechSmith is offering a Software Engineer Intern role in Michigan. You will work in an agile team, building software for TechSmith’s image and video ecosystem.

The internship emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and delivering quality code that goes live on our sites regularly. Ideal candidates are enrolled in CS, can commit to 12–18 hours weekly, and will join a multi-semester program in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Plan to be enrolled in CS during Summer/Fall 2027, with at least 6 undergrad credits or 3 grad credits.
• Available to work 12–18 hours per week for the duration.
• Able to work multiple consecutive semesters.
• Experience with C++, C#, TypeScript, Objective-C, Swift, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with leveraging AI tools in software development projects.
• Experience in internships, school projects, or personal projects.
• Experience collaborating on software projects within a team.
• Familiarity with Git source control.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an agile team, programming and estimating upcoming work.
• Review completed work with teammates and managers.
• Collaborate with User Experience Designers and Product Managers.
• Work with Software Test Specialists to ensure quality.
• Help deploy changes to TechSmith sites and products.
