Job summary

TechSmith in East Lansing, Michigan, seeks a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to our image and video ecosystem in a collaborative team.

You will work in an agile environment, programming and estimating upcoming work, reviewing code with teammates, and solving real customer needs.

Requirements include enrollment in a computer science degree, 6+ undergrad credits, 12–18 hours/week, and willingness to work in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Enrollment in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Plan to enroll in summer or fall 2027 (>=6 undergrad credits or >=3 grad credits).
• Able and willing to work 12–18 hours per week for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an agile development team on software projects.
• Program, estimate upcoming work, and review completed tasks with teammates.
• Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and other engineers to deliver quality solutions.
